ABOUT ME
My own diverse work experience in different areas of social policy and my own special interest are the structures of public services and organizations / third sector, their functioning and accessibility. My strongest area of ​​expertise is the issues of integration of migrants and multicultural work. I have worked as a social worker, trainer and in various development projects in both the municipal and NGO sectors. I am a M.Sc. (Eng.), A legal social worker. In recent years, I have taken my expertise to develop the structures of public social services by creating new models and creating specific models of leadership in organizations without forgetting the specific issues of leadership. I have also been involved in writing various publications and I have strong networks both in Finland and abroad, especially in German-speaking areas.
I work in the Central Uusimaa Association of Municipalities, in the future welfare area, as the forerunner of adult social work, my areas of responsibility are the adult social work units of Tuusula and Mäntsälä-Pornainen and the Immigrant Services of the entire municipal association. My job is also to act as an immigration expert for the consortium of municipalities in the national networks. I am also the general secretary of the Finnish Caritas Association for Relief and Development Cooperation.
